Back in 2007, entrepreneur Sharon Kan founded (, an interactive website where children and parents can create and publish their own books. The vision for Tikatok was fueled by Kan's desire to help kids exercise their creativity during their formative years; the platform is targeted at kids aged 5-12, the window of time that Kan says is best to prompt kids to use their imagination and creativity to write a story.
