Retailers are looking to move forward on projects aimed at the customer experience and omni-channel retailing to increase loyalty, satisfaction, and ultimately conversion.
Compared to last year, it is encouraging to see increases across the board in projected technology spending in the Integrated Solutions For Retailers 2014 Retail Tech Spending Survey. After many years of omni-channel failing to materialize, in a very short time, concepts such as these and clienteling have moved from retailers’ wish lists to reality. It should come as no great surprise that POS and mobile software are leading this year’s trends. These crucial components are still part of the natural progression toward moving to a seamless omni-channel consumer experience, and a single-commerce platform for retail.
