How Easy Rest Beds Improved Site Conversion

Source: Bridgeline Digital

The Easy Rest Adjustable Sleep System Company (formerly Contour Beds) is a leading national provider of modern, state-of-the-art electronic adjustable beds. The company has been making beds in the U.S. for over 100 years. Over the past two decades Easy Rest has provided over 600,000 beds to customers across the nation, and is able to provide on call technician service to all of them.

The Challenge

When Easy Rest approached Bridgeline, their website was on an outdated and difficult-to-manage platform that required their IT department to get involved any time the site needed to be updated. This made regular management of relevant content next to impossible, and hampered the ability of the Easy Rest marketing department to effectively run and assess targeted campaigns. Further complicating the situation, the company was in the process of changing its offline name and branding from Contour Beds to Easy Rest Adjustable Sleep System Company. The existing website did not match that branding effort, and their outdated content management system wasn’t nimble enough to catch up.

Easy Rest needed a brand-new web experience, with a focus on ease-of-use and innovative technologies. They engaged Bridgeline Digital to build a simplified site that enveloped Easy Rest’s new branding initiatives, was easy to update, and created sales leads for the company. Since Easy Rest markets and sells directly to consumers, and not through retailers, this project soon proved to be a vital cornerstone to their entire marketing and sales strategy.
