Ordermark Certifies Epson Smart Printer For Its Online Order Consolidation System

Solution Simplifies Online Food Ordering and Boosts Sales

Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, recently announced that Ordermark, a provider of online ordering solutions for restaurants, has certified Epson’s OmniLink TM-T88V-i intelligent printer for its unique ePOS Print and Server Direct Print technologies. Epson and Ordermark help restaurants reach their full online ordering potential by consolidating orders from online ordering services and streaming them to a single Epson thermal printer. The joint solution is available from Ordermark today.

In a recent report, “What If All Food Could Be Delivered as Easily as Pizza?” Morgan Stanley Research projects that the total U.S. food delivery market could grow to as much as $210B over the long term, from around $11B today.

Ordermark’s CEO and co-founder, Alex Canter, a 4th generation owner and operator of Canter’s Deli, a world-famous landmark restaurant in Los Angeles, knows that restaurants require an easy online ordering process. He also has experienced first hand how difficult it is for restaurants to manage multiple online ordering services such as DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub, etc. With 12 tablets in his restaurant to manage all these orders, he needed a better solution and recruited a group of engineers and Epson to develop a simple and cost efficient system to consolidate online orders.

“We’re selling to restaurants around the world and they tell us that they need the speed, reliability and affordability of our joint solution,” said Canter. “We needed a collaborative partner that would help us exceed the expectations of our customers. There is no initial cost for restaurants to set up our system. It’s plug and play and restaurants can start to accept more online orders within 24 hours. The Epson printer arrives at the restaurant pre-configured to instantly work.”

"We're huge Ordermark and Epson fans," said Bret Thompson, owner of several popular LA eateries including Milk and Pez Cantina. "They're solving a big and painful problem for us and increasing our online ordering sales without any up-front costs. Their solution lets me focus on my restaurant and thrive with a strong online ordering presence."

“We really value our partnership with Ordermark,” said Tom Kettell, director, commercial channel sales at Epson “As restaurant operators and innovators, they understand the needs restaurants have for seamless online ordering operations. Our partnership sets restaurants up with a powerful and easy to use online ordering solution that works right out of the box, accelerates order processing and helps drive sales.”
