Ivan Matkovic, founder and CEO of Spendgo, shares the secrets to his company’s 100% month-over-month growth and offers advice other startups – and industry veterans alike – can profit from.
Recently, I attended Epson’s second annual ISV (independent software vendor) event to get an update on the company’s foray into the cloud, which began in 2013 with the launch of the Epson OmniLink smart solutions family. Last year, the company started an ISV program and hand-selected 10 ISVs to develop retail business applications for its cloud ecosystem, OmniLink Merchant Services (OMS). At the event, I had a chance to talk to one of the “10,” Ivan Matkovic, founder and CEO of Spendgo, a software company that helps businesses create digital customer loyalty programs and marketing campaigns for in-store, mobile, and online businesses.
Matkovic started Spendgo in 2010 at the age of 24 (with early investments from his college professor, the sale of his roommate’s car, and personal funds) and since that time has grown from a small development staff of three to a national company with clients that include Coldstone Creamery, Jamba Juice, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, and more.
