Reusable or returnable logistics containers can reduce cost and waste in the supply chain, but many companies have struggled with the asset management aspects of using this type of shipping container. Managing container flow among various suppliers or third-party logistics companies can often add unnecessary costs to the supply chain due to lost/stolen containers.
