ADC Technologies, Inc. recently introduced newly enhanced QuickStart™ Retail  Enterprise Mobility Kits, which combine the latest Motorola wireless handheld computers with the powerful features of the proprietary x10DATA Mobile Server software. The kits allow users to quickly set up, and have access to, retail store operations data, warehousing details, and Dynamic Great Plains financial information … anywhere, anytime. Transaction data and reports available from a PC are displayed in real time on a mobile handheld restricted only by multilevel security settings. The QuickStart Retail Store Mobility Kit provides a variety of retail store operations, such as inventory management, price audits, receiving, and portable point of sale. The QuickStart Warehouse Solution Kit eliminates the confusing selection task and the arduous on-site integration of wireless hardware and software. With plug and play instructions, the Kit can be deployed in minutes to mobilize warehouse operations. The QuickStart Enterprise Mobility Kit provides wireless access to Dynamic Great Plains financial, distribution, manufacturing, service management, and Microsoft's CRM, using all wireless carriers.

Each QuickStart Mobility Kit is customized for the application. The components include an x10DATA Mobile Server license, one wireless switch, and one or two Motorola mobile computers. A single, 10-step instruction booklet leads one through the system setup.
