Brett’s Luggage has been an omni-channel retailer since it launched its e-commerce site,, in 1995. Suitcase. com performed well until 9/11 and the recession of 2001, at which point business slowed, as travel was neither affordable nor a priority. As a result, CEO John Ebb needed to rethink the business, especially the e-commerce site.
