This is why the remote desktop management solution BEETLEview is preinstalled on all Windows-based BEETLE systems from Wincor Nixdorf. It incorporates the Intel LANDesk Client Manager, a proven management solution for desktop systems that is based on standards. The numerous functions include, for example, efficient and automatic system inventory management and remote administration of POS systems. Hardware monitoring functions support proactive fault management, which allows the service to be controlled efficiently and noticeably increases system availability. By means of integration modules, BEETLEview can be integrated seamlessly in established enterprise management applications such as Tivoli and thus incorporate management solutions.
A versatile, scalable and highly available POS family based on standards, coupled with an uncompromising, scalable management solution, form the basis for a win-win situation for our customers. An identical solution is being developed for Linux.
