Brother Mobile Solutions' PocketJet And MPrint Products Achieve Motorola Solutions' Independent Hardware Vendor Validation
Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brother International Corporation and premier provider of products for the mobile workforce, recently announced it has completed Motorola Solutions' Independent Hardware Vendor (IHV) Co-Validation Program for the PocketJet and MPrint printers. Motorola Solutions' IHV Program products are thoroughly tested for interoperability with Motorola mobile computers and have obtained the necessary regulatory approvals.
As a compatible Motorola Solutions IHV vendor, Brother Mobile Solutions will make its industry-leading mobile printing hardware available to channel partners, resellers and end users. Featured IHV Program Brother Mobile Solutions printers include the PocketJet, one of the only mobile printers on the market with output sizes of 8 ½" x 11", and the MPrint, an ultra-portable small-format printer.
"As a member of the respected Motorola Solutions IHV network, Brother Mobile Solutions furthers its reach with potential industry partners and, more importantly, increases visibility with both existing and potential clients," said David Crist, vice president of Brother Mobile Solutions.
Motorola Solutions' IHV Program builds bridges among members of the program by enabling them to easily identify other companies whose products are compatible with their own. IHV Program products are sold — and in some cases, incorporated into a solution — by Motorola Solutions' global network of channel partners, or directly by the hardware vendors.
