CannaTrac® Announces Contract For CannaCard® Loading Stations In 18,000 New Retail Locations
Chicago, IL (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- CannaTrac® (“CannaTrac”), the leading cashless payment solution for the cannabis industry, announced today that the company has signed a contract with a major organization of retailers to place CannaCard® in 18,000 retail locations across the United States.
With 18,000 new retail loading stations and more to come as the chain continues to grow, CannaCard® users now have a greatly expanded list of options for reloading and using their cards as a payment option. The retailers include convenience stores, dispensaries, CBD stores, smoke shops, and vape shops.

The CannaCard® presents users with options of both a physical card and a free mobile app that allows users to easily upload funds through the app with their checking account, debit card, credit card, and/or cash in person at partnered dispensaries or retail locations. Entering non-cannabis retail locations would present CannaCard® the opportunity to serve consumers as the one-stop card necessary for all transactions, both cannabis and non-cannabis.
In the near future, CannaTrac plans to expand the app’s amenities to provide consumers with loyalty rewards.
Currently, CannaCard® is the only mobile payment system fully integrated into the Adilas point-of-sale (POS) platform. As of mid-December 2018, this equated to more than 900 cannabis-related businesses that currently use Adilas having the ability to utilize the CannaCard®.
The CannaCard App™ can be downloaded for free from Google Play and Apple Store. Consumers can reload their CannaCard® at participating dispensaries and retail stores, or directly through their online/mobile account. The flat fee to load their account is $0.95.
