CPI Card Group Announces Organizational Changes
CPI Card Group announces the following organizational changes effective immediately. These changes are intended to improve customer satisfaction, strengthen the company, and provide opportunity for continued growth for the entire organization.
Russ McGrane Named Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Planning. Russ has been instrumental in building CPI into the industry leader it is today, and he will be responsible for developing CPI's Strategic Plan and Business Development initiatives. CPI will continue to explore new markets and to grow both organically and through acquisition; in this new strategic role, Russ will provide the leadership necessary to succeed at these initiatives.
Gary Smythe Promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Gary was previously President of Didier Printing. Since CPI acquired Didier in early 2008, he has been serving as Vice President of Operations–Indiana and leading the Business Integration activities. As COO, Gary will now be responsible for all company operations in Colorado, Nevada, and Fort Wayne; specific direct reports will include scheduling, plant managers, quality, and information technology. Gary will be relocating to CPI's headquarters in Littleton, Colorado.
