Total Wine & More needed visibility into task management compliance as it became an omni-channel retailer.

Started by two brothers, David and Robert Trone, in 1991, Total Wine & More has become America’s largest independent retailer of fine wine. They currently operate over 80 superstores in 11 states and direct ship from the company’s website to states that allow it. With more than 2,000 associates, their privately held company needed to improve its current method of communicating tasks to the store manager and associate level. At the time, there was a distinct lack of visibility into compliance and completion of tasks at the store level. District managers had to call individual store managers to verify compliance. When you are dealing with strict liquor control laws in various states, compliance for this retailer is a potential killer. This was especially true as Total Wine began selling online.
