Retention and Productivity Increase as Employees Benefit from Improved Technology and Modern, Progressive Employee Assistance Programs

Tools in the hands of today’s retailer have evolved in their ability to increase stores’ engagement with floor associates. Better technology for human capital management, for instance, helps to facilitate predictable work–life balance, essential to employee engagement. This includes more flexibility in scheduling and accuracy in pay and benefits administration, as well as additional improvements in responsiveness and accuracy of core HCM information and processes. Accompanying these advancements have been those to employee assistance programs (EAPs). Today’s progressive, robust EAPs increase the provision of care that a retailer can extend to its employees, who show goodwill in return and extend that to customers.
