Demandware Strengthens EMEA Market Position With New Munich Headquarters And General Manager Appointment

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun. 13, 2013-- Demandware®, Inc. (NYSE: DWRE), the industry-leading provider of enterprise cloud commerce solutions, today announced the opening of its new European headquarters in Munich, Germany and the appointment of Jamus Driscoll as General Manager of EMEA. The Munich office is now the center of operations for sales and marketing in EMEA. Jamus Driscoll, formerly the company’s senior vice president of global marketing, has assumed a new leadership role overseeing European field operations and is based in Munich. Also in Europe, Demandware recently expanded its offices in London, England; opened new offices in Lyngby, Denmark; as well as has existing offices in Paris, France and Jena, Germany.

These investments are aligned to the company’s strategy to deliver innovative, cloud-based omni-channel commerce solutions to retailers across the globe. Demandware clients in Europe include leading retailers such as Butlers, Magasin du Nord, Marks & Spencer, Mothercare, Playmobil, Quiksilver and s. Oliver.

Jamus Driscoll assumed the position of General Manager, EMEA after serving as the company’s senior vice president of global marketing since 2006. He is leveraging his experience to strengthen Demandware’s brand and operations across Europe. Driscoll reports to Jeffrey Barnett, Demandware’s chief operating officer.
