In honor of this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), world’s premier trade show for brand-new innovative computer, video games and technologies, GameStop is offering customers with a variety of special discounts, promotions and trade-in savings.

This year’s E3 is bringing virtual reality to the playing world and has introduced a line of trending titles that gamers are anxious to get their hands on titles including Super Smash Brothers, Assassins Creed Lego Batman, Halo 5, Battlefield Hardline, Alien Isolation, and more. In all 6,600 stores worldwide, GameStop is allowing customers to pre-order their favorite anticipated E3 games. “We are excited to be working closely with our partners to bring these new innovative gaming products to our consumers with great bonuses through our reservation program,” says Tony Bartel, president of GameStop.

GameStop will please customers even more with the added bonus of trade-in value for trades toward the newly announced E3 games, enabling customers to pre-order even more titles through the buy-sell trade service. From now until June 22, PowerUp Rewards Pro members have the opportunity to receive an additional 40 percent on games traded in toward the pre-order of E3 titles, while all customers will receive 30 percent in-store credit toward titles.

In order to play the soon-to-be released games, gamers need to have the latest, next-generation consoles including, the Sony Playstation 4 and Microsoft Xbox. By granting customers an extra 50 percent credit with trade-in of older consoles toward the purchase of the newer models until July 13, now is the time for gamers to update their gaming system and prepare for the thrill of the new titles to come. Also until June 22, customers can trade-in older Wii systems, receiving $50 in-store credit toward the purchase of the new Wii U version.

On June 13-15, GameStop held a PS4 savings event in stores with special offers including, $150 credit with the trade-in of PS3 or Xbox 360 of 250GB or higher toward the purchase of new PS4 console, $100 credit of PS3 with 12GB or Xbox 360 Original or 4GB toward PS4, PS4/PS3 Grand Theft Auto V Pulse Elite headset for $129.99 compared to $149.99 retail price, and discounts on titles such as, Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
