Latest Video Solutions From TimeSight Systems Receive Lenel Factory Certification
With OnGuard integration, TimeSight's open IP surveillance system is the industry's only automated Video Lifecycle Management solution that extends support for the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program
TimeSight Systems recently announced it has received Lenel factory certification for the integration of its next-generation, intelligent Video Surveillance Appliances and video management software to Lenel's OnGuard
"TimeSight Systems has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program," said Gidon Lissai, Director of Strategic Alliances for Lenel.
TimeSight System's Video Surveillance Appliances featuring integration of OnGuard are the first to automate Video Lifecycle Management (VLM). VLM is the practice of reducing the size of stored video over time – according to business rules - as that video ages and becomes less relevant. TimeSight's patented, Dynamic H.264 compression with exclusive Motion Optimized Recording (MORe) allows both analog and IP camera networks to capture motion and non-motion video without deletion, and over time dramatically reduces storage requirements without the risks caused by deleting video which may not have met predetermined motion thresholds.
"TimeSight Systems designs its Video Surveillance Appliances for customers that want better video, longer retention, and the ability to use that video system as a key business tool. Not only do we let users have high-res video for much longer periods, but our open architecture, rules-driven system can interact with a myriad of other security and business systems, such as access control, panic alarms, and plant control systems," stated Tom Ertel, Vice President of Engineering for TimeSight Systems. "Each of our customers can implement the system to their specific requirements, including how to handle stored video, how long the retention should be by camera or groups of cameras, or what to show guards in the event of alarm…all with up to ninety percent less storage and server infrastructure than normally required."
