Lightwave Security Expands SecureAware Sales Force

Lightwave Security, an automated GRC solutions provider, recently announced that it is expanding its reach into North American organizations with the addition of several IT security and risk management experts. The new sales agents will focus on organizations in their respective industries that can benefit from Lightwave's SecureAware IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT GRC) system to manage business risks and comply with U.S. and international industry security standards and government regulations.

Critical Path Solutions, LLC, led by Jim Troy, will target retail and affiliated payment industry companies that must comply with the Payment Card Industry's Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), including brick-and-mortar retailers, e-tailers, security auditors, payment processors, banks and payment solution ISVs and VARs. Michael Doornbos will focus on government agencies and contractors as well as private companies primarily in the East Coast-Mid-Atlantic region. Phil Pavay will concentrate on organizations that need to establish security policies to comply with North American and international security mandates and privacy laws. The agents will work directly with executives and security officers within organizations to develop sales opportunities for SecureAware as well as through a network of IT security value-added resellers.

"IT security is a fluid process and many organizations are overwhelmed by the task of creating a secure workplace that is also compliant," said Michael Doornbos. "SecureAware is light years ahead of the competition in solving the urgent security problems companies are challenged with today. It makes writing, maintaining and adapting useable security policies that fully comply with the plethora of mandates and laws organizations are subject to globally extremely easy to implement. Equally important, it takes into account the importance of addressing the ‘human factor' in IT security through employee education with its Awareness module. SecureAware is the first IT GRC system to actually simplify the security process through automation instead of making it harder. Because it's completely customizable and offered as licensed software and as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, it's suitable and affordable for any size organization."

Critical Path Solutions, LLC (CPS Retail – www.cpsretail.com) is a software consulting and professional services firm focused on delivering advanced retail technology and electronic payment solutions for retailers and retail focused technology service providers. CPS' experienced professionals and specialized tools enable companies to successfully introduce new products, technologies and services into the integrated retail store environment. Symbol, Kodak, Epson and Publix are among the companies that rely on CPS Retail's expertise.

Michael Doornbos is an IT security and compliance expert based in Washington, D.C. He has 15 year's experience helping public organizations and private companies determine and write security policies to match internal processes and meet specific compliance requirements.

Based in California, Phil Pavay is a strategic advisor on IT security issues and solutions to Lightwave Security and is now expanding his role to include new business development. He has more than two decades of computer industry experience with the last 10 years focused on IT security and risk management. His IT security experience encompasses developing security programs for organizations in diverse industries such as health care, financial services, aerospace, higher education and the public sector.

"We're excited to build out our sales organization with this exceptionably talented team of security, risk mitigation and compliance experts," said Joseph Dell, Lightwave's president. "With their depth of understanding of current security challenges and solutions, they are absolutely the right individuals to introduce SecureAware to CISOs, VARs and ISVs throughout North America and help them rapidly benefit from our solution."
