Location Optimization Software: Pollo Campero Licenses geoVue's Dynamic Location Optimization Solution To Expand in US

geoVue, a leading provider of dynamic location optimization software, and Pollo Campero, recently announced that Pollo Campero has licensed and is deploying geoVue's software solutions to optimize real-estate decisions, thereby increasing its own and franchisees' return on invested capital.

Pollo Campero seeks to become the leading Latin American chicken restaurant chain in the world and a major quick service restaurant player in the U.S. market. During the last 10 years, Pollo Campero has achieved many successes, such as doubling its transactions and serving more than 75 million customers a year.

"We believe that our growth opportunity is between 300 to 500 new restaurants over the next five years," said Jorge Armenteros, executive vice president of Franchise Operations, Pollo Campero. "geoVue will help us to define the opportunity and to establish clear growth objectives over that time period and beyond. By optimizing our decisions, we anticipate meeting our objectives while increasing our own and our franchisees' return on invested capital."

geoVue goes beyond simple site selection. It optimizes locations. Using its innovative solutions and domain expertise, geoVue develops predictive store trade areas that allow clients to decide which markets to enter, expand or exit; how they should optimize store networks within each market; and how to localize marketing and merchandising.

Pollo Campero selected geoVue's solution because it creates a decision-making framework that gives management a clear set of development priorities using predictive trade areas, market potential statistics and market rankings. By optimizing trade areas and restaurant networks, as well as a build-out sequence, Pollo Campero will be able to secure the best new locations, while minimizing cannibalization.

"We're excited to help Pollo Campero expand at this critical growth stage," said Rudy Nadilo, CEO of geoVue. "It is now in a great position to make fact-based real-estate decisions, while many of its competitors are still relying on hunches. Savvy franchisors like Pollo Campero realize that getting real estate right is key to the success of franchisees - and their own businesses."
