As we approach one year since the passing of the October 2015 EMV liability shift, many retailers still find themselves without EMV reading capabilities. Adoption rates continue to increase, but at a slower pace than many in the payments space would like to see. If your customers haven’t yet made the switch to EMV, it could be for many reasons. Maybe you’re still waiting for software or hardware, or maybe your customers don’t see the benefit of investing in new terminals.
