LP Video: Going Digital On A Budget

Even retailers with completely analog LP video systems can capitalize on the value of digital by moving from DVRs to encoders. Here Bob Johns, associate editor of Integrated Solutions For Retailers magazine and RetailSolutionsOnline.com, talks with Hedgie Bartol and Jackie Anderson,  business development managers in retail with Axis Communications, to discuss the benefits of high definition and encoding while using the retailer’s existing infrastructure. Retailers do not have to go through the expense of going completely digital and adding all new IP cameras. There are other ways to get many of these benefits through encoding.
