It is finally here! A chain and store merchandise planning system totally integrated with allocation, assortment planning, and seasonal replenishment. All integrated within one application. Store plans automatically refer to chain plans. Chain plans may be the sum of store plans. Assortment plans and allocations automatically use trended store plans. The application supports the spreading of plan changes down the hierarchy as well as multiple alternate hierarchies at both the chain and store level. Dynamically updated future store plans provide a basis for allocating and replenishing individual stores based on new, more accurate ‘percent-need’ calculations at SKU or style/color/size level. Multi-item assortment plans are developed based on projected store needs. The application makes extensive use of automated workflow concepts for efficient and management controlled day-to-day operation.
