Milestone Gives Sneak Peek Of XProtect Corporate 4.0
Preview of exciting new features will be revealed at ASIS trade show
Milestone Systems, the open platform company in IP video management software, will be previewing sneak peeks of the coming version 4.0 of XProtect Corporate at next week's ASIS trade show in Dallas, Texas. New functionalities will be presented that continue to expand the capabilities for easy management of large-scale security system operations.
XProtect Corporate is the top-of-the-line offering in the Milestone family of open platform IP video management software, designed for large-scale, multi-site installations with support for unlimited numbers of cameras and users. XProtect Corporate already offers dynamic, integrated map applications and built-in support for the XProtect Smart Wall to ensure exceptional surveillance overview and control.
The sneak peeks of the next version 4.0 of XProtect Corporate will reveal four key new additions to the platform:
- Milestone federated architecture that provides infinite scalability
- Multi-layered, interactive maps and alarms
- Bookmarking in both live and browse modes with time-synchronized video
- Optimized video archiving for flexible, multiple storage and database management
"Version 4.0 of XProtect Corporate will represent a huge step forward for our highest-end offering - the product hasn't seen this level of development since its inception," states Christian Bohn, VP Marketing & Product Development at Milestone Systems. The sneak peek demonstrations of XProtect Corporate 4.0 will be happening several times a day at the Milestone booth number 3667 in the Dallas Convention Center where the ASIS show is going on October 13-15.
In the Milestone booth, ASIS attendees can also explore shining examples of the Milestone IP video open platform at work: a star line-up of ten Milestone Solution Partners will present their innovations that are integrated with XProtect. Besides interactive demonstrations throughout the booth areas, hourly theater presentations will be given, followed by Q&A time with technical experts.
Agent Vi will be displaying its comprehensive video analytics solutions, including Vi-System - real-time video analytics solution - and Vi-Search - video search and forensic analysis solution. Both will be integrated with Milestone XProtect, demonstrating how Milestone's management and recording solutions receive, display and manage real-time events as well as query video for forensic analysis and business intelligence purposes.
BriefCam: Video Synopsis is a new investigative tool and innovative technology that lets operators "browse hours in minutes" by creating a summary of the original video to enable rapid review. It is winning multiple honors: most recently the Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award for Physical Security. At ASIS there will be special focus on the new BriefCam Embedded Viewer for the Milestone XProtect Smart Client.
HP Industry-standard servers and an HP Z Workstation are hosting Milestone XProtect Corporate demos in Milestone's booth. In addition, HP is demonstrating Milestone XProtect Enterprise and XProtect Smart Client on the powerful HP Z Workstation.
