The age of mobility is changing the way retailers approach, interact with, and retain their customers.
Innovative retailers are finding ways to translate the possibilities of store associate-driven mobile technology into more meaningful in-store experiences for their customers. Executed deliberately, mobile point of service technology (MPOS) increases sales, improves productivity, heightens customer service and loyalty, and enhances the retailer’s brand in a powerful way. The decision becomes not “if” or “when,” but “how” it will be implemented. Implementation of a mobile initiative must be approached systematically and with forethought, not only from the standpoint of technology, but also that of integration with marketing and store operations.
