NCR Installs New Point Of Sale Solution At Grand & Toy, One Of Canada's Largest Commercial Suppliers Of Office Products

With its 122-year tradition of meeting the office product needs of Canadian businesses, Grand & Toy has continued its commitment to customer satisfaction by selecting a comprehensive point-of-sale (POS) solution from NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR). Rollout of the NCR RealPOS 80 solution began this spring, with the systems now fully operational in more than 70 Grand & Toy stores across Canada.

Introduced in 2003, the NCR RealPOS 80 is the first POS terminal to allow for comprehensive accessibility and serviceability on replaceable parts - without the use of tools. Routine maintenance can be done with a pair of hands, minimizing service time and increasing system availability. As easy to configure as it is to service, the system is available in either modular or integrated configurations and functions as a traditional POS or self-service device. Running on the NCR RealPOS 80 is POS application software from Triversity, an NCR solutions partner.
