Payment Processing, Inc. Announces Availability Of PayPros PCI Compliance Program For Businesses Using PPI PayMover Or Pin Transaction Security Certified Terminals

Payment Processing, Inc. (PPI), the industry leader for integrated payments, today announced the availability of the PayPros PCI Compliance Program for Businesses, a comprehensive set of security services to validate compliance for businesses. It includes a unique breach reimbursement guarantee covering forensic investigation, fines, and card replacement costs up to $150,000. The program is the result of a strategic partnership between PPI and Digital Resources Group (DRG), an Approved Scanning Vendor and Qualified Security Assessor.

PayPros PCI Compliance Overview
For businesses using integrated applications using the PPI PayMover Hosted Payment Service, the program includes the ability to perform unlimited scans and an online Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). DRG's SecureScan product allows for scanning of all filtering devices (such as firewalls or external routers), web servers, application servers, domain name servers, mail servers, virtual hosts, and wireless access points in wireless LANs. SecureScan pinpoints card data security vulnerabilities, provides guidance on correction and communicates to the card brands that the system meets compliance requirements.

For businesses using Pin Transaction Security certified terminals, the program provides a TurboPCI compliance workbook and CD, or an online SAQ portal solution.

Both services include access to live phone and email support from DRG.

PayPros PCI Breach Reimbursement Guarantee
Businesses, under the terms of the PayPros PCI Breach Reimbursement Guarantee, are eligible for reimbursement up to $150,000 for forensic investigations, fines and card reissuance costs resulting from a card data breach. The guarantee is considered in-force for businesses using PTS Certified terminals or the PPI PayMover Hosted Payment Service and are compliant at time of breach.

Chuck Riegel, PPI's executive vice president, commented, "Most businesses are aware of the PCI mandates, but many are unsure of what action to take. This service from PPI and DRG is a way to quickly and easily validate compliance without becoming PCI experts and, concurrently, gain some protection against the cost of breaches."
