Point Of Sale: MEI Selected As Bill Acceptor Supplier For Tidel's New Sentinel BCND Smart Safe

The MEI CASHFLOW SC bill acceptor has been integrated into Tidel's new Sentinel Bulk Coin Dispenser with Note Dispenser (BCND) smart safe. Using the Sentinel BCND safe at the point of sale or in the back office can help reduce cash management costs for retailers. The BCND counts and secures cash electronically and dispenses that cash back as needed for check cashing, debit card cash-back transactions, self-checkout systems and many other applications.

Tidel selected the MEI CASHFLOW SC bill acceptor because of its advanced processing technology and engineering that rejects counterfeit bills while instantly accepting legal currency. MEI also offers the industry's lowest jam rates, and the CASHFLOW SC can be programmed to accept any currency. The acceptor holds up to 1,200 bills in each lockable cash box that can easily be removed by designated money handlers, making cash management easier for retailers.

"The Sentinel BCND offers retailers a total cash management solution, and Tidel uses top-tier suppliers like MEI to ensure the highest reliability," said Ed Grondahl, SVP sales and marketing at Tidel. "Retailers can trust the counterfeit detection and speed of MEI's acceptors."
