POS: CrossView Joins IBM's ISV Advantage Initiative Program
CrossView, Inc. a new provider of cross-channel shopping solutions, recently announced that it has joined IBM's ISV Advantage Initiative. IBM's program provides independent software vendors (ISVs) with technical and marketing support so they can address the specific information technology needs of small and medium businesses (SMB). CrossView provides customers with solutions to improve retail-centric integration processes and applications, both internally and externally, while enabling them to respond faster to dynamic market opportunities. As part of this program, CrossView will collaborate with IBM to expand its visibility in target vertical industries through various co-marketing and sales activities.
The company's flagship suite, the CrossView Cross-Channel Shopping Solution, provides retailers with a single operational data store so they can access the complete customer order history and product data available throughout all retail sales channels, in real-time. Because CrossView's solution offers a single integration point that reaches across all channels, retailers can maximize their profits by cost-effectively using the correct channels to sell and store products while reducing development, integration and maintenance costs. These expanded cross-channel capabilities improve customer service and build customer loyalty.
Sam Ash, the second largest music instrument retailer with stores nationwide based in Hicksville, NY is taking advantage of CrossView to improve the efficiencies of marketing across their web and call center. David Ash, CEO of Sam Ash Music Corporation, stated, "As a multi-channel retailer, we were challenged to deliver consistent product information across our channels. CrossView helps us assemble, manage and publish thousands of products and the data associated each product to our web, call center and in-store signage system."
"Because today's shoppers have a growing array of options on how to purchase merchandise, they expect merchants to be able to service their new shopping and support preferences. CrossView has introduced a much needed solution that many merchants will welcome as they move to connect their various operational systems into a single data store," said Mark Fodor, CrossView's CEO.
"We are pleased that CrossView has expanded its commitment to IBM as a partner of choice by joining ISV Advantage," said Jim Corgel, General Manager, ISV and Developer Relations, IBM Software Group. "Together, IBM and CrossView can provide joint SMB customers with a comprehensive solution built on open standards."
ISV Advantage is administered by PartnerWorld, the developer resource for IBM Business Partners. It is a worldwide program designed to help software developers reach broader markets, lower their costs of doing business, and take their products to market faster.
