Protect Data Capture And Mobile Devices

Richard Pawlak, senior account executive at 3M Mobile Interactive Solutions, talks with Editor Erin Harris about why the protection of data capture and other mobile productivity electronic devices is so important to the mobile enterprise industry.

"Protection of data capture and mobile (productivity) devices are important for several reasons," explains Pawlak. "These devices are subject to wear and tear each day through multiple users and environments, such as indoor and outdoor applications, retail, warehouse, and transportation. Some examples include, hand held devices used in rental car check-in, retail inventory control/auditing, as well as retail self check out terminals, even warehouse transportation where product moves indoors outdoors."
