From durability to safety to consistent fit and finish, electronic article surveillance (EAS) labels are a critical component of the overall system.
Retailers invest in EAS systems to protect merchandise in the store without compromising shoppers’ experiences, much like automobile manufacturers invest in airbag systems to protect drivers without intrusion. The most critical component of an airbag system is the crash sensors — small, out of sight, and low cost compared to what they protect. As such, these sensors are designed and manufactured to the highest standards. Similarly, in the retail environment, EAS tags are part of the complete protection system and are considered the most critical component on which everything else depends.
