Introducing The New E-Plex Stand-Alone Access Controllers

Kaba Access Control is pleased to introduce its new E-Plex Stand-Alone Access Controllers, the latest addition to the E-Plex brand of electronic access control.

The E-Plex 5x70 Controllers work with the E5000, E5200 and E5700 series—and is the electronic access solution for dual-swing doors, parking gates, turnstiles, glass doors, magnetic locks, electric strikes, etc.—featuring online-type functionality in an easy to install reader unit with keypad.

With exclusive vandal resistant tamper-switch circuitry, the E-Plex Stand-Alone Access Controller prevents unauthorized access. If tamper is attempted, the reader unit shuts down and emits bright blue lights until the unit is reset.

The E-Plex Stand-Alone Access Controller interfaces with new or existing fire alarms and security systems—and is compatible with most electronic door hardware.
