This specialized thermal paper is delivered to end-users in rolls that are pre-printed with the user's logo, product or other branded marketing material. Use of this paper allows users to leverage the receipt for branding and marketing purposes, while also helping to reduce copied receipt fraud. TransAct is marketing the paper under its newly created POWEROLL brand.

Merley has had success with this thermal technology in several large U.K. retailers, including Harrods, Boots the Chemist and Clinton Cards. Since POWEROLL matches brand specific colors and are printed front and back, it is simple for an untrained person to tell the difference between an attempted counterfeit copy and the original receipt. Inks are not easily reproducible. POWEROLL can be easily integrated into any thermal printer.
