Retail Software: RedTail Solutions Announces The Availability Of Its EDI Software-As-A-Service Solution Integrated With AccountMate 7.3 Software
RedTail Solutions, a provider of on-demand electronic trading solutions for EDI and data synchronization, recently announced the availability of an enhanced interface that works with the latest release of AccountMate (7.3), a popular mid-market accounting software system from AccountMate Software Corporation.
RedTail's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution handles all communications between trading partners and manufacturers and distributors using AccountMate through its RTTM (RedTail Transaction Manager).
The latest version of AccountMate software supports Microsoft Vista and the latest security rules. The new interface accommodates these changes so that manufacturers and distributors that are currently using, or wish to use, this award winning accounting and EDI solution can upgrade to the latest versions of both.
With the interface created by Figtree Consulting, Inc., the EDI purchase orders are seamlessly moved to AccountMate sales orders. Once the items are shipped, information is passed to the RTTM to generate and transmit the EDI invoice to the trading partner.
The enhanced integration provides a smooth interface, which simplifies work for order entry and billing clerks. Clear reporting provides straightforward tools for management oversight.
Preparation of the EDI advanced shipping notice is also automated for companies using ACCU-DART software modules and Hand Held Radio Frequency Terminals to transmit shipping information in real time from the warehouse to the accounting system. With the latest RTTM, package level detail information is gathered from the AccountMate and ACCU-DART files and passed to RTTM, where it is merged with the EDI purchase orders and used to generate Advanced Shipping Notices.
The new interface is provided by RedTail as part of its RedTail EDI service at no additional charge.
