Retail Solutions: OfficeMax Selects JDA Solutions To Capture One View Of Business

Leading Office Products and Services Retailer Chooses JDA Solutions to Optimize Business Processes; Reducing IT Spend and Improving Margins through Better Collaboration

JDA® Software Group, Inc. today announced that Naperville, Illinois-based OfficeMax® (NYSE: OMX), a leader in both business-to-business and retail office products distribution, will implement a number of solutions from JDA Software Group. OfficeMax signed a license agreement with JDA in the fourth quarter of 2006 for its Demand, Fulfillment, Collaboration, Strategy, Enterprise Planning and Store Clustering solutions. OfficeMax plans to implement these solutions within the next 12 to15 months to gain a single view of it's Retail and Contracts (B2B) business; reducing IT spend, increasing customer service and ultimately providing one view of demand throughout the customer-driven value chain.
