Retail Workspace: Anthro Presents The New eNook™ Pro

Anthro Corporation, the Portland, Oregon-area manufacturer of modular furniture for technology, presents eNook™ Pro, the wall-mounted, lockable workstation for LCD's and laptops.

The eNook Pro is a secure wall-mounted workspace. eNook Pro makes the most of limited space, and is ideal for use as a hallway station, a notebook desk, and walk-up computer workstation. Like a Murphy Bed, flip the desk shelf up to close and lock computer equipment out of sight. Use the programmable numeric combination lock to unlock the door. Then with a simple press of the push-to-open magnetic door latch, the work surface safely eases down to reveal a 30"W workspace.

It is available in two models; one for LCD mounts and one for laptops. The LCD mount has a VESA mount rail and an integrated keyboard and mouse tray on the main shelf. The Laptop version safely stores a laptop and locks it out of sight. Maximum ventilation protects electronic equipment from over-heating.

Choose from two different sizes; the larger size is 36 inches wide and 26" tall, and has a bottom compartment with a separate door to store Power Strips and cords. The smaller size which is 8 inches narrower and 6 inches shorter, has a deep channel to place the power strips and cords that is accessible from the inside of the unit. When closed, the adjustable metal back panel will allow for the overall depth to be from 7.25" to 8.25". eNook Pro can be mounted safely to any stud in a wall.

Customize the eNook Pro with a variety of accessories. eNook Accessory Shelves enhance storage space, and a scanner can be conveniently mounted with a Scanner Bracket. An additional LCD Monitor Rail Mount will accommodate two monitors side-by-side as long as they are small. Other accessories include a Security Cable with a lock, and a 6-outlet medical grade Power Strip that fits inside the channel below to add charging station capabilities.

Mount a Thin Client CPU to the inside of the eNook Pro with a special small CPU shelf. CPU's 12" to 20" in height and 3.5" to 9" width mount to the bottom of the eNook Pro with a flexible eNook standard CPU holder.

The e-Nook's work surface is made of Kydex, with safe rounded edges, and will hold up to 50 lbs. The eNook Pro structure easily holds up to 75 lbs. The eNook Pro for LCD's comes standard with extruded side rails, wall attachments, a flip-down electronics door with a programmable numeric combination lock, a magnetic door catch, and a VESA mount monitor rail. The eNook Pro for Laptops comes standard with extruded side rails, wall attachments, a flip-down electronics door with a programmable numeric combination lock, a magnetic door catch, and a tray to store the laptop.
