RILA Hosts Record-Breaking Logistics Conference in 2011
More than 1200 supply chain executives convened in Orlando this February for RILA's 2011 Logistics Conference, breaking attendance records for the third consecutive year. Retail and consumer product executives from across all segments of the supply chain came together to learn from other industry leaders about the latest innovations in supply chain and to network with their peers.

An outstanding line up of general session speakers, including TaylorMade-adidas Golf CEO Mark King; Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr.; chief supply chain executives from J.C. Penney, Advance Auto Parts and Sports Authority; Panama Canal Authority Alberto Aleman Zubieta and others, shared their stories and insights with the audience. Participants attended a wide variety of education breakout sessions in tracks focused on international logistics and sourcing, transportation, distribution, specialty retail and supply chain management. Speakers addressed a wide range of topics, from item-level RFID to food distribution and traceability to cloud computing within the supply chain.

RILA thanks the attendees, solution and service providers, excellent speakers, and especially the Logistics Steering Committee, for making this year's conference such a phenomenal experience.
