RSPA Introduces New Member Benefits
The Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA), the only association dedicated to the retail technology industry, is excited to announce three new member benefits as we enter into 2009.
The first of these benefits is RSPA Marketing Services. After surveying the RSPA membership, RSPA recognized a need among our members for low cost marketing services. Meeting the members' request, RSPA has worked for the past several months to create a program and a dedicated website to address this very need. This exciting new benefit will allow RSPA members to receive such services as website hosting/design, e-mail marketing and print marketing for a lower-than-market cost. The campaign for this new benefit, None of the BS (bogus spending), will debut in RSPA's January/February issue of connect and subsequent RSPA publications. For more information,Visit NoneOftheBS.com.
RSPA recently entered into a partnership with Sprint in order to offer our members and their employee's special savings on Sprint and Nextel services and equipment. Sprint is offering RSPA members an 8% monthly savings for equipment as well as an extra $50 off for any new activation. Members can also expect monthly services discounts, extensive equipment discounts and special member-only promotions each month. For more information, visit GoRSPA.org/Sprint.
In order to address yet another need in our marketplace, RSPA entered into a partnership with Pre-employ.com. Many retailers today are requiring their vendors installing and supporting retail technology to do a background check on their employees. PCI Compliance requirement 12.7 calls for merchants to vet their employees and contractors who may have any contact with cardholder data. To assist with meeting that requirement, Pre-employ.com will provide RSPA members over a 30% discount on their most popular employment screening package. RSPA members can learn more about this benefit by logging onto GoRSPA.org and visiting the Detailed Member Benefits section under Member Resources.
"RSPA continuously listens to our membership and strives to implement new benefits that add to the value of being an RSPA member," said Joe Finizio, RSPA President & CEO. For more information on any of the aforementioned benefits, For mre information, visit www.GoRSPA.org.
