ShopRite Of Bethpage Opens

ShopRite announced the opening of its newest store in Bethpage, NY, featuring a large selection of fresh produce and natural and organic products and ShopRite’s low, everyday prices.

Located at 3901 Hempstead Turnpike, the 57,000-square-foot ShopRite of Bethpage will be operated by the Greenfield family and their Food Parade Inc., a family-owned business made up of second and third generation grocers.

The space underwent an extensive renovation to meet ShopRite standards and customers can expect a full service, state-of-the-art supermarket with freshly prepared foods, sushi, salad and olive bars and made-to-order sandwiches. The store will also include a wide selection of organic and Kosher products.

To mark the opening, the Greenfield family will make a special donation to Feeding America Food banks in their trading area on Long Island.

“We are really excited to bring ShopRite and this great supermarket to Bethpage. We are a family business and we are committed to the families we serve in the communities where our ShopRites operate,” said Seth Greenfield, who often works alongside his dad, Jon, in the family’s supermarkets.

The new store employs close to 300 full- and part-time workers while featuring key ShopRite departments such as a fresh bake shop, floral department, seafood department with fresh, daily deliveries and a meat department where meat is cut to order by trained butchers. The ShopRite of Bethpage also includes a broad selection of natural and organic products in every department along with a variety of freshly prepared meals, gourmet delicacies and cheeses from around the world.

The Greenfield family also owns ShopRite stores in Plainview, Morton Village and Commack. The family plans to open another store this spring in New Hyde Park.

The ShopRite of Bethpage is located at 3901 Hempstead Turnpike. Store hours: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
