Case Study: Charlotte Russe Supports Aggressive Growth Plans By Installing JDA Software's Merchandising And Allocation Solutions In Seven Months
When a company undertakes an across-the-board replacement of its core technology, there's generally a set of strategic business imperatives driving the project. For Charlotte Russe Holding, Inc., a mall-based specialty apparel and accessories retailer, aggressive growth underpinned its system transformation. While many retailers would have opted for a multi-year, phased software implementation, Charlotte Russe embraced a speed-to-value philosophy. In just seven months, the retailer, which currently operates 487 stores across 45 states and Puerto Rico, went live with several JDA Software solutions to support its contemporary fashion chain.
The retailer selected JDA® Portfolio Merchandise Management (PMM), JDA® Performance Analysis, JDA® Assortment Planning and JDA® Allocation solutions, as well as several other solutions from its Merchandising suite. With plans to expand, Ed Wong, EVP chief supply chain officer at Charlotte Russe, said the company needed strong solutions that could handle large transaction volumes while improving inventory visibility and tracking.
