Skida Swaps Stitch Labs For Brightpearl To See Growth Snowball

Successful activewear brand Skida has chosen Brightpearl to support its rapid growth as a Shopify-powered producer of locally produced but universally popular hats, headbands and neckwear.

Skida was previously a Stitch Labs customer but decided to switch to Brightpearl in order to access a scalable and extensible platform that is geared up for growth and offers retail brands a single source of truth across operations. As a Brightpearl customer, Skida can now look forward to unrivalled automation functionality, an ‘out of the box’ native integration with Shopify, advanced reporting and much-improved CRM.

Skida was launched in 2008 after its founder, Corinne Prevot, started making hats for her cross-country ski teammates using fabric she discovered locally in Lyndonville, Vermont. Her creations proved so popular that the first product line of warm and colorful headwear was produced – and was an instant hit.

The multichannel brand has grown significantly over the last decade – it now connects with thousands of customers every month via its popular Shopify website, a physical store, and wholesale – but it remains true to its roots with a commitment to Vermont-based production and limited edition products.

As a rapidly-deployed retail operations platform with seamless integrations to the brand’s existing tech stack – including Shopify, ShipStation and Klaviyo – Brightpearl is perfectly placed to help the business grow freely in the coming years, without the limitations of outdated ERP systems impairing the ability to operate as an omnichannel business.

With Brightpearl, Skida has gained real-time analytics and reliable reporting across order management and inventory. Key back office workflows can now be automated, saving the Skida team huge amounts of time and freeing up its leaders to focus on what matters most: ongoing growth.

The business now also benefits from advanced warehouse management, best-in-class CRM and easy 3PL integration. It’s a dramatic difference after Skida struggled with a lack of support and functionality from its previous provider.

“We’re thrilled to have been brought on board at Skida to simplify the day-to-day operational complexity that comes alongside rapid growth,” said Justin Press, SVP Customer Success at Brightpearl.

“Brightpearl isn’t like other OMSs and ERPs. We deploy at lightning speed and plug in immediately to your wider tech stack, so that brands like Skida can feel the Brightpearl impact quickly. For brands like Skida, our seamless ‘plug and play’ integration with Shopify makes all the difference.

“We are excited to help Skida reach its full potential with access to our scalable, reliable platform – and all the game-changing functionality that comes with it. And we know where to go for warm and colorful headwear for our next ski trip!”About Brightpearl
