Source Technologies Enhances DLE-based MICR printers

CHARLOTTE, N.C., August 4, 2009 — Source Technologies, a world-class provider of MICR and secure printing solutions, announced it will begin offering 32MB of user-addressable Flash memory in all current model Secure MICR, Secure MICR Prepped and Secure Document printers. This modification takes effect immediately on DLE-based versions of the following secure and MICR printer models:

Source Technologies is the first and only secure MICR printer provider to offer this level of user-addressable memory at no additional charge. With this increase in functionality, users are no longer required to purchase Flash memory to support additional system fonts or to store signatures for access by the printer's security features. Source Technologies printers that utilize a DLE (downloadable emulation) option card will now include this enhancement, eliminating the need for an additional memory component. This supplementary memory provides significantly higher value to customers in addition to enabling higher security when printing checks or information-sensitive documents.
