Star Micronics America, Inc. presents the TSP100 futurePRNT, a revolutionary thermal printer that has been specifically designed to address the evolution in the POS market. The futurePRNT is the first USB-only printer and a true “plug and play” printer that is delivered with all necessary accessories, including an internal power supply, USB cable, wall and vertical mounts, driver CD, sample paper, quick set-up guide, power-switch cover, and paper guide. Enhancing the speed of the futurePRNT are new drivers. The drivers eliminate the need for emulation software and take advantage of today’s computers with faster microprocessors so that elaborate receipts with extensive graphics can be printed at the same speed as conventional receipts.

The new process created by the futurePRNT enables end users to use a receipt as a marketing device, such as incorporating logos and coupons, without losing print speed. An additional benefit is that, because all graphics are stored in the computer rather than in the printer, a virtual unlimited amount of graphics can be stored.
