The IP video network that covers Bear Creek Mountain Resort (BCMR), on the other hand, is a case study in a 300-level course on camera placement. Covering 330 rugged and sprawling acres outside of Philadelphia, BCMR boasts 86 acres of remotely monitored ski slopes and trails, many retail, hospitality, and rental sites, as well as two ballrooms and several conference facilities that host corporate events, weddings, and parties. The facilities greet more than 315,000 guests annually, and they’re all monitored by 200 strategically placed cameras.
