Our annual report on retailers' tech initiative successes and spending plans blossomed this year. We secured detailed survey responses from 448 qualified retail technology professionals, 63 more than we gathered in 2009. With help from Penn State University, we designed a survey that engaged executives from the nation's leading retail brands with questions that elicited thorough and often passionate responses. The report we produced from that survey begins on page 8.
