This multilocation liquor retailer revamped its lighting by converting from fluorescent to new LED lighting.

As margins decrease and retailers look to protect the bottom line, an added benefit has arisen from cost-saving measures — protecting the environment. This is occurring as companies seek new energy management solutions and move to eco-friendly options to save on energy costs. One such example is Texas Tonka. The company has been selling beer, wine, and spirits in Minnesota for 14 years and had never really considered revamping its store lighting. This changed when the owner, DJ Sikka, decided it was time to upgrade the store.
