The Body Shop Selects Triversity's Transactionware GM As Global POS Solution

Triversity Inc., the fastest growing international provider of customer-centric retail solutions, today announced that The Body Shop International plc has selected Transactionware GM as the company's global point-of-sale (POS) solution. The Body Shop will begin a pilot project later this year.

The Body Shop also selected solutions from Triversity?s extensive suite of centralized transaction services, including EFT and credit/debit card functionality. Triversity will also provide Help Desk services, integration with gift card and loyalty card applications, and an interface to The Body Shop's SAP ERP solution. The POS solution will run the Microsoft Windows XP operating system and includes the Microsoft SQL Server database.

Transactionware GM is the world's first POS solution with a Business Rules Engine and is the most robust, easy-to-use, and feature-rich POS solution available for client/server environments. With more than a half-million options in the Business Rules Engine, Transactionware GM offers unprecedented flexibility that will enable The Body Shop International to quickly and easily configure Transactionware GM, without the need for custom development. This adaptability allows Transactionware GM to serve as a worldwide POS solution for The Body Shop, with the ability to handle multiple languages, currencies and national regulations.
