The Freight Makeover: Three Ways To Improve Your Curb Appeal

As the economy continues to rebound and truck drivers become increasingly more difficult to find, load turndowns across the industry are on the rise. Disruptions and delays in the supply chain are on the short list when it comes to a retailer's worst nightmares; resulting in empty store shelves and the hottest holiday toys stuck in limbo during peak promotional periods. While your freight will ultimately find its way, it's likely to cost you more time, money and resources to do so.

Shippers who take a fresh look at their loads and find ways to make their freight more attractive are going to win. They'll have the carriers and drivers they need more often, based on the "friendliness" of their freight and ease in moving it.
