Originally a subsidiary of The Southland Corporation (7-Eleven), Tidel introduced robbery deterrent cash controllers to the convenience store industry in 1978. Over the last 6 years, Tidel has experienced phenomenal growth – as indicated by a 300% increase in revenue and a 250% increase in manufacturing employee headcount during this timeframe.
