Toshiba Brings Video Surveillance To The iPhone

Free app provides mobile access to up to four security cameras at once

Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., recently launched a mobile viewer for its popular Surveillix NVR video monitoring and recording software for the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad which gives security professionals instant access to their Toshiba Surveillix video recorder.

The Toshiba Surveillix NVR application is available free at the App Store by using the search term Surveillix. It is compatible with all Toshiba Surveillix DVR and NVR generations.

Designed to take full advantage of the advanced capabilities of the touch user interface, the new Toshiba app features:

  • Viewing of live digital video
  • Operation over the Internet or LAN
  • Four-camera split screen or single camera view
  • Compatibility with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.1.3 or later.
