Turn5, Inc. Selects JustEnough To Improve Customer Service Levels, Reduce Inventory And Accelerate Growth

JustEnough Software Corporation, a leading provider of demand management solutions for retailers, suppliers and brand owners worldwide, recently announced that Turn5, Inc. has selected its Demand Forecasting, Replenishment and Financial Planning solutions to support the company's growth initiatives.

Turn5 is a leader in the aftermarket auto-parts industry, serving as the operating company for award-winning e-commerce websites AmericanMuscle.com and AmericanTrucks.com. Turn5 has experienced phenomenal growth due to a combination of outstanding product selection, easy-to-use websites, platinum-rated customer service and a fulfillment center that ships more than 99 percent of customer orders the same day for free. The JustEnough solutions will provide Turn5 with better planning and inventory management capabilities in response to increasing demand for its products.

"We needed to put the brakes on our reliance on Microsoft Excel for planning," said Louis Butcher, Turn5's chief financial officer. "A very manual planning process led to a high volume of inventory, stock-mix issues and ongoing out-of-stocks of priority products. It also hindered our ability to implement effective seasonal plans. Use of JustEnough will help us get smarter about the way we segment inventory across our business divisions. As a result, we expect to achieve an increase in customer service levels and sales."

Butcher added that the JustEnough solutions will also help Turn5 find the optimal way to separate its domestic and international inventory – a key business requirement the new solutions had to satisfy. The solution implementation is scheduled for completion in late Summer 2011.

JustEnough President and Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Buxton, said, "Our best-of-breed demand management solutions are designed to help companies like Turn5 easily forecast consumer demand, plan their inventory and better manage financial plans and open-to-buy budgets. We look forward to helping Turn5 achieve its business objectives and build a foundation for further success."
